Organisation of a seminar on the Amalfitan coast: 100% successful!
I’ve had the pleasure and honour to organise a seminar for an international retail company, onboard The Levant, a splendid ship of the Compagnie du Ponant.
half way from the cruise ship and the private boat, Le Levant is a magnificent 100 meters long ship for 90 persons (45 cabins). She has two restaurants, two bars, a swimming pool, fitness and all water sports equipment that one can wish.
The commander Daumesnil Regis and his crew (55 members) have been remarkably attentive to any request and we have unforgettable moments during those seven days.
Wonderful natural and historical sites
Our travel started in Civitavecchia, our first anchorage being Amalfi and then Positano the second day. Extraordinary landscapes, discovery of perched villages on the mountainside. Visit of churches, monuments, magical views. A great and enriching experience!
Then we went to Sorrento, a particularly mythic and romantic place. Next was the island of Capri and its many shops and then we finally reach the island of Ischia, where all participants could enjoy the pleasures of bathing at the Poseidon Gardens.
The next two days, we stopped in Naples at the foot of the imposing Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii and visited the catacombs of San Gennaro before crossing to Corsica where we docked at the port of Bonifacio for a free day before cruising to Civitavecchia.
Everything came together to make this trip a great adventure!

Quelques Souvenirs…
Great success for the concert with choir at the Churh of Notre Dame de l’Esperance
Great success for the concert with choir organised by Andantino on Friday 18th June at the church Notre Dame de l’Esperance du Suquet, in Cannes
Afert the concert in Marseilles which gathered 350 people, the church of Notre Dame de l’Esperance in Le Suquet seemed almost too small for the 500 people gathered at the concert with entreprise choir this last Friday 18th June.
The Orchestre Regional de Cannes Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur and the choir of the employees of member companies of Andantino, performed two artworks of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdi and the Te Deum of Haydn, in which the soprano Bénédicte Roussenq has been wonderful.
The chorus members, all amateurs, have perfectly performed these particularly difficult artworks thanks to the talent of Jean-Pierre Gregoire, choirmaster and Philippe Bender, conductor.
A very nice evening organised by Andantino!

Andantino celebrates Rossini at the stronghold of Villeneuve-Loubet
On the 1st of June, the association Andantino has welcomed its members in the stronghold of Villeneuve-Loubet to celebrate the 472nd anniversary of the signing of the Treve de Nice between François I and Charles V.
We enjoyed a tour of the stronghold, commented by our talented guide, Gilles Abitbol, followed by an unforgettable musical moment around the double-bass with artworks by Gioacchino Rossini. Three sonatas were brilliantly performed by soloists of the Orchestre Regional de Cannes Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur, Georges Thiery, double-bass, Audrey Derruau, cello, Matei Ioan and Matthew Dutka, violins.
40 members of Andantino and their guests attended this magical evening!
All students in Master 1 MICE have found an internship!
Next to a theoretical cycle, students are now facing their first work experience in Business tourism, at the end of which they have to write an undergraduate dissertation. While they are all facing very different situations, I mostly focus on the maturity that emerges from these dissertations. The key question I ask myself is: “Is this student ready to enter a company? “.
For the majority of them, working life is the next step.
The Master 2 MICE
Others will opt for a Master 2, focusing on e-tourism, which aims to train them on new tools accompanying technological change in business tourism.
The University of Nice Sophia Antipolis is currently looking for teachers specialized in e-tourism for the Master 2.
